The impact of this support has been profound. Hospitals across Ukraine have received vital medical supplies and equipment, including defibrillators, oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, surgical instruments, and wound care materials. This has been made possible by our invaluable partner, Matter, and the generous contributions of Chicagoland hospitals and others across the US. We are especially grateful to dedicated doctors like Dr. Chandra Hassan and Dr. Yuriy Semembytskyi, who have tirelessly collected supplies in their garages and transported them to our warehouse. Their efforts have been crucial in sustaining healthcare amidst the relentless threat of air raids.
UA Resistance has also played a key role in supporting fire departments, which are essential in responding to the aftermath of Russian missile strikes. These departments have been equipped with bunker gear, helmets, and specialized boots, enabling them to perform their duties effectively and safely during the conflict.
The war has displaced 3.7 million people within Ukraine, leaving many vulnerable groups in desperate need. Internally displaced civilians, including seniors and disabled individuals, have greatly benefited from the hygiene kits, clothing, adult diapers, and food we’ve provided. With an estimated $1,670,000.00 in various in-kind donations distributed, this aid has offered not only essential supplies but also a sense of security and support. By addressing their immediate needs, UA Resistance has helped alleviate some of the hardships faced by these individuals as they navigate displacement and uncertainty.
The delivery and impact of this aid underscore the UA Resistance Foundation's commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by the crisis. Our efforts have been instrumental in providing relief and support, reflecting the dedication of our team and partners in responding to the urgent needs of the Ukrainian people.
